NFL, here I come! An athletic trainer is training shares his story of success

>>Albert Padilla: The feeling of helping an
athlete get back to playing competitively at a high level, it’s an awesome feeling [Audio: sound of ripping tape]>>Padilla: I am studying kinesiology under
the athletic training track. I love getting athletes back to the playing field after and
injury or helping them prevent an injury.>>Woman’s voice: Looks pretty good.>>Padilla: I grew up in New York City so I
definitely love the city atmosphere that the city has. The staff as been great. I couldn’t
ask for a better staff in the kinesiology department. When I got close to my clinical
coordinator and program director for athletic training. The tremendous
help that they’ve given me the last two, three years has been beyond words can describe.
Working with the Minnesota Vikings over the summer was made possible by my hard work in
the classroom and clinical sites. Worth the payoff.
Once I graduate I would love to get a full 12-month internship an NFL team. Go to grad
school. Hopefully end up full time in the NFL. The hands-on experience here at Temple,
it’s amazing. You are working with Division 1 athletes with
all sports and you can’t beat it here in Philadelphia.
